Thanksgiving is coming and for most of us that means turkey. So far I've found 2 good deals for turkey.
Kroger has Jennie-O turkeys for $0.57/lb until the end of the day Wednesday. Limit 2.
Wal-Mart has them for $0.58/lb. Not sure how long it will last, but I didn't see any limits in the store.
Wal-Mart also has Honeysuckle turkeys for $0.88/lb, which I found tempting, but in the end, not worth the extra $6 for a sugar-injected bird.
At any rate, I'm doing my best to make room in our freezers. This is a great price on any bone-in meat and I want to stock up while I can. Turkey is not just for Thanksgiving around here...
I also picked up trash bags while I was out, and I'm now on a mission to stock up on these at the lowest possible price. There's no reason for a bit of extruded plastic to cost so much. Last week I bought boxes upon boxes of Stove Top for $0.25 each. The same price as ONE trash bag. grrrr.
Don't even get me started on toilet paper either.

I find that there are some things in life that I will never be able to stockpile on...I am still waiting to get enough tp to last 5 years for pennies.I was able to pull that off with paper towels lasted about a year, now we are out of them :(
