Notes:
The register crabbed at the cashier when she scanned my second Chi-Chi's Q. She actually handed it back to me saying she already had one, but took it again when I pointed out that one was for salsa and one was for tortillas.

Many items were purchased because we simply needed them, and they haven't been on sale anywhere for a while.

I could have picked up some free Handi-foil cake pans for purchasing over $50 in groceries, but I really didn't think I'd use them. The coupon is available through Sunday at www.marsh.net

I normally wouldn't be proud of 42%, but getting a decent price on meats is VERY difficult, and the freezer has been looking a bit too spartan lately...

Shopping at Meijer - I forgot a deal!

I forgot to mention a deal in my last post. This week Popcorn, Indiana Chipins are $2/ea. The 5/22 SS has $1/1 coupons for these. I didn't know about the sale so I was not prepared, but I did have these over the weekend and they are really quite good. Worth $1, IMO.

Meijer trip today

Yesterday we picked up some things for our aquarium at a pet store. Our total came to $50.77. Luckily it was the wrong size. I took it back today and stopped in at Meijer to price their aquarium hoods. I also had a $3 catalina and a couple rainchecks to use up...
